SO, Phoebe & Tom are both living  at university in Bristol currently and both in the midst of studying for their exams – they took a day off to do something fun because it was Phoebe’s birthday; it was such a gorgeous sunny day, too.

Judging by my blogging output recently (Airlee & Alex’s Wedding, Tim & Camilla’s e-shoot and Phoebe & Tom’s e-shoot on the blog tomorrow), you would think that we have been bathed in some kind of glorious spring sunlight over the last few weeks.  We know better.  But when I travelled up to Wandsworth to meet with Camilla & Tim for their engagement shoot we had a rare break in the heartless wet season, and we were able to run around Wandsworth common in the weak but pretty evening light & grab some shots before their upcoming wedding.  I hope you like them, C & T – I will send you these and a few more in the coming days.  xx

Airlee & Alex were married yesterday in the beautiful setting of the New Forest in Hampshire.  There was actual sun present (I know!  Giant fiery ball in the middle of the solar system, you may remember it).  I had warmed to Airlee & Alex as soon as I met them, and on the day both their families just as warm & welcoming to me and my super sidekick for the day, Sarah.  Thank you for that, Ibbs & O’Briens – it makes all the difference!  Airlee looked like a silver screen goddess with Veronica Lake hair, red lips & an Oscar-worthy gown.  The wedding was set at the Balmer Lawn hotel, and Airlee & her friends had decorated the outside space with giant pom-poms, and transformed the inside into a vintage wonderland with handmade accessories, old books & gorgeous bunting.  I am reliably informed that friend Betty was somewhat of a superhero in helping Airlee in the transformation.  If you could come & do my house next Betty, that’d be great.

Alex & Airlee didn’t have the most stress-free of weddings days (understatement!), but all the unexpected things the day threw at them were dealt with with resilience & humour.  And at the end of it, their obvious love for each other blew everything else out of the water, and every single person there (myself included) had an amazing day right along with them.  I hope you feel this taste of your wedding pictures reflects that, guys, and have an amazing honeymoon xxx

Kai & Stephanie had the most amazing day.  So amazing I can’t resist blogging about it before I go to bed (I keep promising myself I will stop doing same day blogs, but there is just too much pretty….), so here are some images from the day.  Have an equally amazing time in Mauritius guys (as if you couldn’t!), and thank you for allowing us to be part of you day.

A big thank you as well to the folks at Romsey Abbey – rarely have we been made to feel so welcome – and also to Paddy & his staff from Wise Catering for some seriously prompt & delicious food and to the always lovely Winchester Guildhall.

We managed to dodge the occasional hailstorm & have a marvellous weekend on Winchelsea beach – S even got some body boarding in (crazy child).  Makes you want summer to rush around the corner, doesn’t it?

This time we were joined by my friend and amazeballs fashion photographer Ina Halsor, fab make up artists Victoria Brown & Amy Cal, wonderful models Chisato, Nikita & Camilla,  and Shay Harris Bridal wear; whom supplied some of Shay’s gorgeous gowns.

Being a Hill Place wedding photographer must be like shooting fish in  a barrel – this place is beautiful, and I am thrilled to be shooting a wedding there next year.  Thank you so much to Rebecca & Will for your hospitality.

Nici & Matt were married today at at St Michael & All Angels church in Andover, and then spent their afternoon at Norton Park Hotel Near Winchester.

Their day was so lovely; Nici & Matt & their families were just fab, and I was honored to spend the day with them.  I am being hollered at to come & watch Britain’s Got Talent by my eldest daughter so I will leave you with taste of their amazing day.  Nic & Matt – have an amazing honeymoon, I hope you like this peek at the visual memories I have made of your day…!

Yesterday I shot folk band Black Peak in and around a very sunny Winchester.  Not  a hard task given the surroundings, and having photographed Debs wedding a couple of years ago I knew she knew the ropes.  Thanks for your time Debs & Darren (and Chris & H!), I had fun.  I hope you like these first few images.
