With wedding season about to kick off I am spending the next few weekends doing engagement shoots. With this in mind I spent a fascinating late afternoon with Roz & Adam ahead of their wedding next month. Adam is an old boy of Winchester College, and now teaches there so they are lucky enough to be getting married in one of the chapels. As you will know by now, I love my city, and as Winchester College is not usually open to the public (it is after all a school) it was such a treat to be shown round the glorious buildings by Adam & Roz. Such a breathtaking place, and an embarrassment of riches as far as being a wedding photographer goes. Our in-case-of-rain plan is pretty darn glorious I can tell you; which should say something about the shots we will be able to get if the weather is fine! After our tour and some pictures, we retired to the lovely Wykeham Arms pub (recommended) for a drink and a chat about their day.
Adam & Roz are the loveliest couple, I warmed to them immediately, so combining that with the incredible venue I can’t tell you how excited I am about this wedding. Even just in the next couple of months I will get to shoot at Rhinefield House, Avington Park and some gorgeous smaller venues. Bring on weddings 2011! Can’t wait.
