Scott & Kate were married today at the Hotel du Vin. Scott says he fell in love with Kate when they were at school together & she walked into the classroom, a scant 16 years later and she agreed to go out with him. Good job too. They make such a gorgeous family (along with their daughter Maddie), and it was a privilege to record their wedding and celebrations today.
Kate had done an amazing job styling the Hotel du Vin with rustic table decor, hand stamped kraft favours, lanterns & string. The ceremony room was decorated with giant pink pom poms clustered beautifully in focal areas. All of this was set off by stunning floral arrangements (& bouquets) by vintage florist Catkin & Pussywillow with gypsophalia, roses & succulents. Her beautiful column gown with intricate beading to the shoulder was from Shay Harris in Southampton, and she looked breathtaking in it.
After the late afternoon ceremony, we headed into town & took some portraits of Kate & Scott alone – something we won’t be able to do tomorrow once the clocks go back – as the light faded.
Thank you so much for having me along to your beautiful wedding, Mr & Mrs Lemon. I will be in touch with the rest of your photos soon…. xxx
