It is raining in a manner that could possibly be described as biblical outside, so I am going to warm myself up with (a) hot coffee and (b) Hana’a & Jonathan’s stunning and sunny wedding in the New Forest.
The East Close Hotel is a fab venue for an all-day wedding. The ceremony rooms are really pretty, the gardens varied & containing things for all ages of guests to do, and it has some beautiful bedrooms upstairs for getting ready (and collapsing at the end of the night) in. It looked beautiful decorated by Hana’a & her bridesmaids & friends on the morning of the wedding – including the world’s busiest maid of honour. Hana’a herself was as beautiful as she always is (which, in case you haven’t looked at the photos yet, is really really beautiful), and probably should get the award for Most Chilled Bride 2013. Both Hana’a & her sister Iman are fantastic hair stylists so it was a bit of family affair in the bridal suite, along with Hana’as amazing daughter Sophia.
Right, I am going to stop wittering because I could go on for ages about her gorgeous Pronovias frock, the scrummy food, the flowers in their hair, Jonathan’s pant-wettingly entertaining speech, the fete-style games, and the fantastic favours in the form of silhouettes by Sarah Goddard, and the flowers – by Jebus the flowers! – by the incredibly talented (and flexible, and thoughtful) Bo Boutique. So have a look at some of the iamges instead!
