Beth & Ed are abandoning their friends & family to move to New Zealand next month (and who can blame them?) so after years together they decided to get engaged before Christmas, then they decided to arrange a wedding in four months, and I have to say they (ahem, Beth) did an amazing job. Beth chose the lovely East Close Hotel as her venue, which I know very well – the hotel is beautifully appointed and has so much available to wedding guests – lots of indoor & outdoor space, two ceremony rooms, and really lovely grounds to name but a few. They also have some fantastic staff members – thanks so much to Nikki & her team for their help as ever, and especially to the thoughtful bar staff who always spot a flagging photographer and grab her a diet coke!. Beth decorated the venue in a woodland theme – the details were just exquisite. From the seedling favours to the moss on the table centres, the carved readers, the riotous colour of the stunning flowers by Lauren of Concept Flowers, the designed table cards & favours, right down to the books in the library. That she managed this in a matter of weeks is incredibly impressive.
The wedding was relaxed, funny, emotional and was a perfect celebration of this fab couple & their marriage. Thank you to Beth & Ed for having me along, to all the other great suppliers who helped make it work, and to the coolest tribe of flower girls on the block who kept me on my toes all day due to their practical jokes & inexhaustible energy – Buffy, Bea, Jess, Emily & Mouse, you will take some beating :).
Beth & Ed, I will be in touch with the rest of your photos really soon!
