So yesterday I got to be a Bath wedding photographer which is frankly just like being a Hampshire wedding photographer, but it had the added bonus of Heather & Jonathan, their beautifully elegant wedding, and their lovely families. Oh and the city of Bath, which has such a strong character, it kind of felt like an extra guest at the wedding! Many of my lovely family live in & around Bath so I visit the area regularly, and I was so exited to shoot my first wedding here.
Heather loves all things Georgian, so she chose to get ready at beautiful Bailbrook House Hotel with the help of wonderful MUA Rebecca Green, followed by a really relaxed & inclusive ceremony at the Nexus Methodist Church – such stunning building, and thank you to the team there for making us so welcome – including a reading from Jayne Eyre. After I made them traverse a hill in search of blossom, we decamped to the breathtaking Assembly Rooms ballroom for the evening dinner & ceidilh dancing.
This was one of those special weddings where everything went totally to plan, and it was a joy to photograph – I mean, just look at Heather will you! She looked so amazing in her form fitting gown, Jenny Packham shoes, and veil.
Thank you so much both of you for making Emily & I so welcome – we loved being on your team for the day. Here is a little peek at your images, have a wonderful time away, and I will be in touch soon with the full story! xxx
If you are looking for a Bath wedding photographer, getting wed in the Assembly Rooms, or frankly if you are getting married anywhere I can get to without aid of a small personal militia, and you want to talk about wedding photography, please do get in touch!
