So yesterday, I was lucky enough to hang out with the gorgeous Jennifer & James at the Monatgu Arms in Beaulieu in the New Forest. They were married a year ago in Jen’s native Texas, and yesterday was the day they got to do the British celebration – so naturally it poured with rain. All day. Without a break. We didn’t care about that though! Jennifer & James has planned a small & intimate gathering with beautiful floral touches, with family from the UK & the US, and with little touches of home (thank you SO MUCH for my package of Texas flavours – I plan to use the fixins’ this week! I may have already eaten the chocolate…). And look at that amazing cake, conceived by James’ mum! Special motion has to go to the brilliant speeches too – James’s was heartfelt & honest (as every grooms speech should be), Jen’s Man of Honour brought the house down, and James’ best man Nick made a whole video game to illustrate their lives, which was pretty damn cool!
Thank you all for having me along, making me welcome, and being the loveliest people to spend a rainy Saturday night with :). xoxo
If you are having New Forest wedding, rainy or other wise, please do get in touch!
