Kathryn & Jules’s crazy hot & beautifully happy Basing house wedding, with a celebration at home
I love weddings at people’s homes, about a third of this years couples are celebrating their weddings in either their own home, or their parents home – it has a very different feel to a venue wedding, and holds so much meaning. Kathryn & Jules did the formal bit at the beautiful Basing House. This isn’t my first Basing house wedding, and every couple whom have used this magnificent space have made it their own, and matched it to their personalities.
After their union was official, and I used that beautiful side light to make some portraits, we headed back to Kathryn’s family home in Hook – to drinks & swimming on giant unicorns, to great food, big laughs, owls in hollowed out trunks, a field of dancing blue dragonflies, and a celebration of this beaut of a couple.
(in other news; it was crazy hot, I am burned, and England are in the semi-finals of the world cup. Not that anyone was watching during speeches or anything. ahem)
Thanks you so much to the entire Scourfield & Aston-Noone family for making me & my brilliant second shooter Nicola so welcome, we loved our day with you! Here is a glimpse of your day…
